OUR STORY
Before Seawall Studios ever opened its doors in Brooklyn, it began as a shared vision between three college friends in Chicago.
The three of us met at the downtown Chicago seawall, a place that became our gathering point, our pre-game spot, our late-night confession booth, our date spot, our calm after chaos. Every night started and ended there. It was where friendships formed, where ideas were born, and where we learned how community can transform creativity.
Carrying that spirit back to New York City, Seawall Studios first opened in Williamsburg as a home for artists, musicians, and creators to collaborate. It was there that Seawall Sessions was born - curated nights full of live performances and local vendors, crafted to spotlight emerging talent.
As the work evolved, so did the vision. Seawall Studios grew beyond its original form, expanding its craft, refining its approach, and embracing a more intentional, elevated creative process. Now anchored in Sunset Park, we remain committed to creating a welcoming space where artists can be seen, heard, and empowered to make their best work.
